Sharing an exciting opportunity from the IAEA!
The Technical Meeting on Reactor Physics, Thermal Hydraulics, and Plant Design of Molten Salt Reactors (MSRs) will take place at the IAEA Headquarters in Vienna, Austria, from 22–25 April 2025.
This meeting will focus on the latest advancements in MSR technology, a promising option for clean energy deployment. MSRs stand out for their inherent safety features, fuel flexibility, and the ability to operate at high temperatures, making them ideal for hybrid energy applications like hydrogen production and thermal energy storage.
💡 Key Topics Include:
1️⃣ Status of advanced research, design, and technology developments for MSRs
2️⃣ Reactor thermal hydraulics of MSRs
3️⃣ Design engineering for nuclear power plants with MSRs
The event will foster international collaboration, exchanging state-of-the-art knowledge and approaches for multiphysics and thermal hydraulics coupling modeling to support nuclear plant engineering.
🔗 Participation and Registration:
Participants must be designated by an IAEA Member State or invited organization. Applications should be submitted via the InTouch+ platform by 24 March 2025. 💡
