Discover how nuclear science and technology contribute to a better world! π From clean energy and cancer treatment, to food safety, space exploration, and scientific innovation, nuclear play an important role in improving everyday life. Through this competition, participants are invited to creatively explore and illustrate the positive impact of peaceful nuclear technologies on society, health, energy, and sustainability today and for the future.
π The competition will focus on two main categories, with all submissions required in A3 format:
πΌοΈ 1. Traditional Painting
Participants are invited to submit their artworks via the drive provided by ENEN. This category is open to the following age groups:
π§ 10β15 years
π§ 16β30 years
What is expected:
ποΈ handmade painting or drawing (any technique is allowed: watercolour, acrylic, oil, pencil, markers, mixed media, etc.)
β Only original artworks created by the participant are accepted.
β Artwork must be submitted as a high-quality scan or photo.
π A short description including:
- The concept and message of the artwork
- The tool/technique used
π€ 2. AI-Generated Collage
Participants are invited to create and submit collage images using AI tools. This category is open to participants aged:
π§ 16β30 years
β¨ What is expected:
β An A3-format digital collage created using AI-based image generation tools and/or AI-assisted design platforms
β The artwork should be a curated and intentional composition, not a single unedited AI output
π A short description including:
- The concept and message of the artwork
- The AI tools used
- The prompts used to generate the images or elements (key requirement)
- Any post-editing or composition steps (if applicable)
π General submission rules:
π File format: JPG or PNG

π A total of three prizes will be awarded, one for each age group/category combination. The prize winners will be invited to attend the exhibition and award ceremony in Brussels, with the possibility of visiting the European Commission. Each winner may be accompanied by one guest.
