Ukrainian nuclear sector is operating in exceptionally challenging circumstances. Yet research continues. Universities teach. Nuclear power plants operate. Young professionals are being trained.
This workshop will present:
🔹 NURECAB achievements and key results – including gap analysis, modernisation of nuclear education programmes, and stronger integration of Ukrainian institutions into EU/Euratom research networks
🔹 Institutional case studies – how research institutes and universities sustain high-level nuclear education and cooperation under demanding conditions
🔹 Nuclear Energy in Ukraine: Development, Security and Resilience – operational experience of NPPs, long-term strategy, SMR perspectives, supply chain localisation, and energy system integration
