📣 Call for Applications – ELINDER Summer School on Nuclear Decommissioning & Waste Management!
ENEN is pleased to share an exciting learning opportunity from the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC):
The 2026 Decommissioning Summer School (DSS) will take place 22–26 June 2026 at the JRC site in Ispra, Italy.
This 5-day, practice-oriented course offers:
🔹 Expert-led training on nuclear decommissioning and waste management
🔹 Visits to nuclear installations in Ispra
🔹 Hands-on case studies and group work
🔹 A unique chance to strengthen your technical background during the summer
👩🎓 Who can apply?
The DSS is designed for students who have completed their first cycle of studies (engineering, science, technology).
Preference will be given to Master’s and PhD students without a remunerated professional activity.
💸 Costs & Support
Participation is free of charge for admitted students.
The JRC covers tuition and accommodation.
Travel costs may be partially reimbursed through the EU ENEN2Plus project.
