The National Institute for Nuclear Science and Technology (INSTN) is organizing the International School in Nuclear Engineering, with 6 one-week advanced courses, aiming at promoting knowledge in the field of reactor physics and nuclear engineering at a high education level, to be held in France, in January and February 2019.
On 1 November 2018, the European Nuclear Education Network (ENEN) and the OECD-NEA signed a Memorandum of Understanding to co-operate in the field of nuclear education, training and knowledge transfer.
All ENEN’s activities are now performed in the framework of the ENEN AISBL (AISBL = Association internationale sans but lucrative, International Non-Profit Organization), registered at 11 Rue D’Egmont, 1000 Brussels, Belgium.
Students (aged 14-18 and currently enrolled in secondary schools) are invited to promote discussion and raise awareness on the current or future impacts and applications of nuclear science and technology in our lives. The students who design and implement the most innovative projects will be eligible for a trip to the Republic of Korea, to present at the conference, visit local schools and institutions, and attend cultural events.
