Are you a PhD student, Postdoc or young researcher interested in presenting and discussing your research on Molten Salt Reactors? Would you like to benefit from the experience of senior scientists from the SAMOSAFER project through special mentoring activities? Then we warmly welcome you to attend our Young MSR conference, to be held on 6 – 8 June 2022.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) neutronics, fuel cycle, thermal-hydraulics, multiphysics reactor and transient simulations, safety studies, operation and control, experimental facilities, etc. related to Molten Salt Reactors.
Call for abstracts
Young authors that want to present their work at the YMSR conference are invited to submit a 500-words abstract A̶p̶r̶i̶l̶ ̶3̶0̶t̶h̶,̶ ̶2̶0̶2̶2̶ May 14th, 2022. Contributors to the YMSR conference will be given the opportunity to submit a full-length paper for a special issue of the prestigious journal Nuclear Science and Engineering. All manuscripts submitted will undergo the regular journal peer-review process. The standard publication is free, open access publication is available for a fee.
Registration
Participation to the YMSR conference is free of charge. Please note that the number of participants is limited and registrations are on a first come, first served basis.
The EU is pursuing an active policy on gender balance to close the gap for women in science. SAMOSAFER project therefore encourages female researchers to submit an abstract and participate in the conference.
