{"id":4749,"date":"2023-02-23T19:34:42","date_gmt":"2023-02-23T18:34:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/enen.eu\/?p=4749"},"modified":"2023-02-23T19:35:43","modified_gmt":"2023-02-23T18:35:43","slug":"apal-advanced-workshop-entitled-advanced-procedures-for-integrity-assessment-of-rpvs-subjected-to-pts-loading","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/enen.eu\/index.php\/2023\/02\/23\/apal-advanced-workshop-entitled-advanced-procedures-for-integrity-assessment-of-rpvs-subjected-to-pts-loading\/","title":{"rendered":"APAL &#8211; Advanced Workshop entitled \u00abAdvanced procedures for integrity assessment of RPVs subjected to PTS loading\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In the framework of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apal-project.eu\/\">APAL<\/a> project (Advanced PTS Analysis for LTO), we are currently organizing the APAL\u2019s advanced workshop entitled \u00abAdvanced procedures for integrity assessment of RPVs subjected to PTS loading\u00bb. &nbsp;The event will take place online and in-person (Hotel City in Ljubljana in Slovenia) hosted by <strong>Jo\u017eef Stefan Institute<\/strong> on <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>May 11<sup>th<\/sup> and 12<sup>th<\/sup>, 2023.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>APAL\u2019s final goal is to formulate a best-practice guidance for deterministic and probabilistic reactor pressure vessel (RPV) integrity assessment considering improved methodologies and also recommendations for the assessment of long-term operation (LTO) improvements, in which advanced methods assessed in the project (both deterministic and probabilistic) are described.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The workshop is thus dedicated to advanced methods for weld residual stress (WRS), warm pre-stress (WPS), thermal-hydraulic (TH) analysis, probabilistic analysis and LTO improvements on pressurized thermal shock (PTS).
