{"id":4375,"date":"2022-05-24T15:37:48","date_gmt":"2022-05-24T13:37:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/enen.eu\/?p=4375"},"modified":"2022-05-24T15:44:04","modified_gmt":"2022-05-24T13:44:04","slug":"repost-summer-school-in-radiochemistry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/enen.eu\/index.php\/2022\/05\/24\/repost-summer-school-in-radiochemistry\/","title":{"rendered":"REPOST: Summer School in Radiochemistry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Nuclear and Radiochemistry Summer School for 16-18 years old&#8221;][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Organised in the framework on the <a href=\"https:\/\/enen.eu\/index.php\/portfolio\/a-cinch-project\/\">A-CINCH project<\/a>, by University of Leeds<\/p>\n<p><em>This action reflects only the author&#8217;s view and that the Commission is not responsible for any use that may be made of the information it contains.<\/em>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>About the Summer School<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThis 4 day intensive summer school is designed to give attendees an insight into careers in nuclear and radiochemistry fields.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights include:<br \/>\n\u2022 Lab based and VR activities including nuclear energy, nuclear waste, nuclear forensics, environmental monitoring and nuclear medicine<br \/>\n\u2022 A tour of the radiochemistry lab at the University of Leeds<br \/>\n\u2022 Panel discussion event with recent graduates in the field<br \/>\n\u2022 Career presentations from academics and industry experts<br \/>\n\u2022 Group assignments with prizes for outstanding work<br \/>\n\u2022 Site visit to Springfields Fuels Ltd and the National Nuclear Laboratories (NNL) facilities at Preston, UK<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>The summer school is intended for<\/strong><\/span>:<br \/>\n16-18 year olds from across the EU and the UK with an interest in science and in learning about the diverse careers available in nuclear and radiochemistry.<\/p>\n<p>A basic of knowledge of English is required for0 all students.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Venue<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The A-CINCH Summer School will take place at the University of Leeds\u2019 School of Process and Chemical Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>Accommodation is at Devonshire Hall (a student hall of residence).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Registration<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nPlease visit <a href=\"https:\/\/leeds.onlinesurveys.ac.uk\/a-cinch-summer-school-2022-signup-form-copy\">https:\/\/leeds.onlinesurveys.ac.uk\/a-cinch-summer-school-2022-signup-form-copy<\/a> for registration<\/p>\n<p>Accommodation &amp;
