{"id":4268,"date":"2022-03-09T09:18:36","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T08:18:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/enen.eu\/?p=4268"},"modified":"2022-03-09T09:18:36","modified_gmt":"2022-03-09T08:18:36","slug":"hands-on-training-on-radiochemical-spectroscopic-analysis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/enen.eu\/index.php\/2022\/03\/09\/hands-on-training-on-radiochemical-spectroscopic-analysis\/","title":{"rendered":"Hands on Training on Radiochemical Spectroscopic Analysis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Ljubljana, 13-17 June 2022&#8243;][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Organised in the framework on the <a href=\"https:\/\/enen.eu\/index.php\/portfolio\/a-cinch-project\/\">A-CINCH project<\/a>, by <a href=\"https:\/\/enen.eu\/index.php\/about-enen\/enen-members\/jsi\/\">Jozef Stefan Institute<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Venue: <a href=\"https:\/\/enen.eu\/index.php\/about-enen\/enen-members\/jsi\/\">Jozef Stefan Institute<\/a>, Ljublijana<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The course is organized by the A-CINCH Consortium and it consists of 2 parts:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Distance learning via CINCH Moodle (see and sign up at moodle.cinch-project.eu).<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on training that will take place at the Jo\u017eef Stefan Institute, Department of Environmental Sciences.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>All teaching will be in English.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;4271&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The course objectives are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to get familiar with the radiochemical analysis of alpha, beta and gamma emitters by radiometric techniques<\/li>\n<li>to gain an understanding of basic principles of radiochemical analysis<\/li>\n<li>to get familiar with alpha, beta and gamma spectrometry<\/li>\n<li>to be able to understand radiochemical analytical procedures and apply them to practical problems<\/li>\n<li>to gain practical skills of working in radiochemistry laboratory<\/li>\n<li>to gain practical skills in handling radioactive materials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All teaching will be in English.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target Group:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This training course aims at delivering the basics of alpha, beta and gamma spectroscopy techniques for the determination of radionuclides in environmental samples.
