EURADWASTE \u201922"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;10th Euratom Conference on Reactor Safety &amp; 10th Euratom Conference Radioactive Waste Management&#8221;][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Organized between May 30 and June 3, 2022 in Lyon (France) <\/strong><strong>by the by the French Presidency of the Council of the EU and the European Commission<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This will be the 10th edition of the Euratom research and training conferences on fission safety of reactor systems (FISA 2022) and radioactive waste management (EURADWASTE \u201922) supported by the European Commission together with the Commissariat \u00e0 l\u2019Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives (CEA), under the auspices of the French Presidency of the Council of the EU.<\/p>\n<p>The conferences will gather about 500 stakeholders\u2019 altogether.<\/p>\n<p>FISA 2022 and EURADWASTE \u201922 conferences <strong>objectives are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To take part in the discussions on the <strong>state of play of R&amp;D<\/strong> and <strong>key challenges<\/strong> addressed at national, European and international levels, <strong>synergies and partnerships and future perspectives.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>To <strong>share updated information on achievements of about 80 projects<\/strong> carried out since the previous conferences edition in 2019 (as part of the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Horizon 2020 Euratom Research and Training Framework<\/strong><\/span> Programme),<\/li>\n<li>To <strong>interact<\/strong> within dedicated parallel and <strong>poster<\/strong> sessions, <strong>exhibitions,<\/strong> business and <strong>Young Generation Nuclear researchers<\/strong>\u2019 matchmaking interviews (YGN, Atomicareers)\u2026<\/li>\n<li>To <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>reward relevance and excellence performed in nuclear research and innovation: <a href=\"https:\/\/enen.eu\/index.php\/phd-events\/\">ENEN PhD Event &amp;
