The SCK CEN Chair \u201cRoger Van Geen\u201d is awarded to an eminent researcher<\/strong> in the domain of nuclear sciences and applications<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Selection criteria: The recipient of the SCK CEN Chair \u201cRoger Van Geen\u201d is expected to give an inauguration lecture during one of the SCK CEN events as well as a series of lectures at the graduate level for students, SCK CEN researchers as well as the Belgian nuclear community in general during a scientific stay at the Research Centre in Mol, Belgium.<\/p>\n The series of lectures will be organised in interaction with the SCK CEN Academy.<\/p>\n
\n–\u00a0 Scientific quality of the research during his\/her career in fundamental or applied aspects of nuclear sciences;
\n–\u00a0 a proven track record of education in this field;
\n–\u00a0 potential for setting up a scientific collaboration with SCK CEN<\/p>\n
