{"id":2745,"date":"2020-09-16T19:19:51","date_gmt":"2020-09-16T17:19:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/enen.eu\/?p=2745"},"modified":"2020-09-16T19:24:18","modified_gmt":"2020-09-16T17:24:18","slug":"instn-isne-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/enen.eu\/index.php\/2020\/09\/16\/instn-isne-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"2021 International School in Nuclear Engineering organized by INSTN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"page-header\">About the 2021 Edition (from January 11 to February 5, 2021)<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Organizer:\u00a0<\/strong>INSTN, the French school for energy and health technology is organizing the International School in Nuclear Engineering, promoting knowledge in the field of nuclear sciences at a high education level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>School Structure:\u00a0<\/strong>The 2021 edition will offer 6 one-week advanced courses in nuclear engineering to be held in France (Cadarache, Marcoule, or Saclay), in January and February 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target Audience:<\/strong> The courses are designed for young researchers, PhD students, post-doctorates and engineers, already having a Master of Science in nuclear engineering as a background. 3 ECTS will be awarded for each successfully completed course (one week).<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"page-header\">Program of Courses<\/h1>\n<p>The 6 one-week courses of the 2021 School are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reactor Core Physics: Deterministic and Monte Carlo Methods <\/strong>(Cadarache)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thermal Hydraulics and Safety <\/strong>(Saclay)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Materials for Nuclear Reactors, Fuels and Structures <\/strong>(Saclay)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nuclear Fuels for Light Water Reactors and Fast Reactors <\/strong>(Cadarache)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nuclear Fuel Cycle: from Strategy to Processes <\/strong>(Marcoule)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nuclear Waste Management <\/strong>(Marcoule)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Curious to know more on the breakdown of topics covered in each one?
