The CONNECT-NM partnership on nuclear materials is launching a Young Researcher Network (YRN) to connect early-career researchers with leading experts in the field. This initiative aims to foster long-term collaboration and dialogue between emerging professionals and the established scientific community.

Support for young researchers to attend the workshop on site is available through the ENEN2+ project or directly from the CONNECT-NM partnership for members of the consortium.
Young researchers who would like to attend the workshop in Bratislava should apply on the ENEN2+ project mobility platform by 20 July as follows:

- Next, on the landing page of mobility platform, select the programme “Individuals applying to group events”.
Select the item “First workshop of the young researcher network of CONNECT-NM” from the drop-down list and start submitting your application.
🎓 Who can apply?
PhD students, post-docs, young professionals, and MSc students from CONNECT-NM member institutions—or from institutions interested in joining the partnership.
💬 Workshop Highlights:
🔹Introduction on the objectives of the network and of the event.
🔹Presentations of activities and needs of industrials (large companies and start-ups), technical safety organisation and/or safety authorities.
🔹Presentations of other training and young researcher initiatives in the nuclear domain to show the opportunities of networking and training for young researchers.
🔹Technical presentation linked to the research lines of CONNECT-NM.
🔹Exchanges on the organisation and activities of the network.
🔹Visit of facilities of the Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave – Slovak University of Technology.
💡 Travel support available through ENEN2+ or CONNECT-NM (for consortium members).
